Dani Galvez is a choreographer, performer, and movement researcher who investigates human emotions through kinesthetic response to sound. Growing up in Union City, CA, she started her dance journey in high school as a color guard member. She then pursued the art form at San José State University graduating with her Bachelor's of Arts in Dance. In her pursuit to understand the different dialects of dance, Dani has trained in various dance genres from the Bay to LA, including hip-hop, contemporary, and modern. Currently, Danielle is a registered yoga instructor, director of Archive Dance Collective, company member of SjDanceCo, and dancer on Cypher Dance Company.
