Stacey Lynn Johnson

I dance, I choreograph, I teach. I have over 48 years of Classical Ballet & Jazz Dance Training, Choreography & performance experience. Thirty Five years of experience collaborating to create original pieces for Dance & Musical Theater Productions and Performances in schools & community groups all over the Puget Sound.. Most recently my work could be seen at the University of Puget Sound, Community Music Department in numerous youth Musical Theater Productions. I am a Dance Educator and Artist. Musical Theater Productions I've choreographed include but are not limited to: My Fair Lady, High School Musical, Peter Pan, Pirates of Penzance, Annie, Mary Poppins, The Boyfriend, West Side Story, Willy Wonka, The Sound of Music, Pinocchio, The Wiz, Guys & Dolls, Hairspray, Cats, Oliver, Grease, Les Miserable, Wicked and The Wizard of Oz I have performed in the opening ceremonies for the U.S Figure Skating Championships and was a member of the Tacoma Stars Indoor Soccer Dance Team. I danced on Stage in a collaboration with Walt Wagner at the Tacoma Pantages Theater as a Company Member of Tacoma Performing Dance Company. I was a dancer in the Greg Thompson Follies Boeing Christmas Party at the Kingdome in Seattle (1978) that made the Guinness Book of World Records for the worlds largest Christmas Party. I have taken and taught Master Classes at many local Dance Studios. As a member of The Tacoma Performing Dance Company I performed yearly in numerous recitals and productions. I loved traveling to schools all over the region presenting the Nutcracker to excited students and staff. My dance training/experience throughout the years includes: Musical Theater, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Barre, Zumba, Pilates & Aerial/Pole I love sharing my love of dance and hope everyone feels free and confident enough to experience the joy of dance for themselves!
