Phoebe Racca began learning dance as early as the 2000s through NSYNC music videos. Her very first mentor was Lily Martinez, the dance instructor at Silver Creek High. Shortly after graduating high school, she joined her first competitive dance crew named Gutbeaters Family, led by Guino Dalit. She then continued her competitive dance journey with San Jose's local team, VIP, in which she became a main choreographer, Captain, and Artistic Director throughout a dedicated 8 years on the team. Working with VIP's leadership team, they won various trophies at competitions such as Prelude Urban Dance Competition, Breakthrough Dance Competition, Bridge Dance Competition, Evolution Urban Dance Competition, and more. Phoebe currently continues her own journey with Groove Against the Machine, based in Oakland, CA.
