Peter started teaching for Rhythm & Motion in 1987. He trained primarily in modern/contemporary dance and loves teaching the diversity of styles that has become the signature for R&M classes. In his performing years, he worked with Joe Goode, Scott Wells and Onsite Dance Company, among others. As Associate Director of R&M from 1994-2001, he helped expand the company from a dance workout program to a community-based global dance center. He currently has a practice as a clinical massage therapist in San Francisco. Come to his classes and dance deep, dance smart and dance your heart out.

Rhythm & Motion (Fusion)

About this class

Rhythm & Motion dance workout classes, taught by experienced dancers and performing artists, are open to students of all levels and abilities. Classes incorporate a broad range of movement and music styles, with choreography inspired by popular music from around the world, including Latin, hip hop, African, alternative, and R&B. Fusion is our original fast-paced, follow-along format. Classes begin with a warm-up that emphasizes technique, and build to high energy dancing to increases stamina and strength. The workout concludes with a floor combination to strengthen and stretch the abdomen, legs and arms. Suggested attire: Comfortable clothing that you can easily move in (e.g. tank tops, t-shirts, shorts, yoga pants). Some people like to do this class in bare feet, but most people wear supportive footwear (no street shoes, please).
