MY STORY

Mitzi Ulloa holds a double B.A. in Dance and Child/Youth Development and a Masters Degree in Education from SFSU. She studied folkloric & popular dance in Cuba. Her dance training includes Afro-Haitian with Ms. Watson at CCSF and the late Alicia Pierce at SFSU. She studied extensively and performed with Susana Arenas Pedroso and Company. Her teachers include Tania Santiago, Jose Francisco Barroso, Raices Profundas, Jennyselt Galata Calvo, Leonel Mendez, and Ana and Dolores Perez. She is a SFUSD Visual/Performing Arts Teacher & coordinates travel with Arenas Cuba. This spring, Mitzi heads to Brazil to continue her studies in Bahia.
