Meredith McMurray

Meredith began learning aerial silks in 2012 in a warehouse in Culver City. It was there Meredith fell in love with the art and the challenge of aerial silks. There was no going back! After a year and a half living and training in Los Angeles, Meredith moved back to her home of origin, the San Francisco Bay Area, where she loves the incredible wide variety of places to train locally. It was here that she stumbled across Pole dance and acrobatics. At first, she thought of pole acrobatics as a good way to just cross train, but she quickly took that up as another love to focus on as well. Meredith has completed aerial silks teachers training at AirCat Aerial Arts in Boulder, Colorado in 2014. She then spent some time teaching at Aerial Dance Marin and performing at various locations all around the Bay Area. Meredith can currently be found teaching and training at SF Pole & Dance. She also makes time to go once a year to train at London Dance Academy and Gravity Circus Centre in London. Meredith’s favorite part of teaching is helping people accomplish things that they never thought were possible. She offers a technical, yet fun approach to acquiring aerial skills and encourages students to express themselves through the movement.
