MY STORY

Marlon "Marvid" Datu is a dance instructor and freelance singer/music producer who's all about bringing his creative passions together. His interest in dance began as a way to fulfill a PE requirement in college, taking a myriad of different styles such as Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. Since then, dance has become a bigger part of his life. He joined various dance teams like Wrawsome. He worked as production assistant and performed in De Anza's annual student choreography shows. He was a member of De Anza KDC, a K-Pop dance club at his college which he was president for in 2013. In 2014, Marvid started teaching professionally at Purdance where he taught K-Pop, Urban, and Jazz Funk classes. His current home is teaching at On One Studios where he hopes to further bring the Urban and K-Pop dance communities together just as he does with his passions.
