Manu has been dancing Lindy Hop since December of 1997. Since then his love for the music and the dance has grown. The list of instructors under whom he studied is too long to write here, but two of his greatest influences are Janice Wilson and Frankie Manning. Since 2000 Manu has been dancing Lindy, performing Lindy, competing with Lindy, teaching Lindy, DJing Lindy music and MCing various Lindy events. Now he co-owns and operates The 9:20 Special, a San Francisco based Lindy Hop dance group.
