Main Stacks Dance

Created January 2008, Main Stacks has climbed to the forefront of the Bay Area dance community. Main Stacks has become a familiar face and name in the community by holding monthly dance classes that are open to the public, as well as competing and placing at major competitions across California. Fatefully, Prelude Norcal was Main Stacks’ competition debut back in 2008, in which they excitedly and unexpectedly placed 3rd. Main Stacks currently is also the host of Prelude Norcal, one of the largest hip-hop competitions in Northern California. The team has hosted the competition since 2010. The team consists of UC Berkeley students, alumni, and members of the Bay Area community. Each dancer contributes their style of dance training, choreography, and dedication to the group to form a unique and successful team.
