Mae Chesney is a dancer, choreographer and teacher with a focus in ballet. From Baltimore, MD, Mae began her dance training at the Gniazdowski School of Ballet. She continued her studies at the Baltimore School for the Arts followed by the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music earning her BFA in Dance. After graduating, Mae began her professional career with Columbus Dance Theatre in Ohio where she danced for 4 years as a soloist. While there, she also began teaching ballet. Mae moved to the Bay Area in July of 2014 to continue pursuing her career in dance and teaching, since moving, she has performed with Menlowe Ballet, Mark Foehringer Dance Project, Nakissa Art Company and Marika Brussel. Mae teaches ballet to all ages and is a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor.
