Born in South Korea, LQ (Ilkyu) Lee started out his dancing career in a Kpop dance cover team in his undergraduate years in New York. As he started to go from a member to choreographer to director in the Kpop and other hip-hop dance teams, LQ readily dove into the world of dance by pursuing a PhD in physics at Stanford and moving to the bay area. Since moving, LQ has danced under teams such as Academy of Villains and partook in various projects throughout the bay, and he is currently dancing with Syndicate.
