Kaila Feldpausch, a native of Dewitt, Michigan, trained at the Miami City Ballet School before attending Indiana University. While attending IU, she performed soloist roles in ballets by George Balanchine, Martha Gra- ham, and Violette Verdy. After graduation, Feldpausch joined Saint Louis Ballet, where she performed works by Gen Horiuchi, Tom Gold, and Brian Enos. She has since been a principal guest artist with Albany Berkshire Ballet, touring in The Nutcracker and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and has performed with Tom Gold Dance in New York City. Feldpausch joined Smuin in 2019.
