Ilana Andujar, raised in Oakland, California has been studying and performing dance since age 4. Originally classically trained in Tap and Ballet, Ilana soon began to study other dance styles. Currently, Ilana studies Brazilian, Cuban, Haitian and Congolese dance under guidance of Bay Area master teachers. She has had the opportunity to perform various dance styles with several groups and companies. She has also traveled to Puerto Rico and Cuba to expand study of traditional dance. With a Bachelor in Science in Public Health Systems Management, dance has influenced Ilana in her work with youth and community development.
