Greg Chapkis is one of the fastest growing names in the dance community. Born and raised in the Ukraine, he started his professional career at a young age. Within just a few years of moving to the US in 1999, Greg had opened his own well known and respected would wide dance studio "Chapkis Dance" In 2005 Greg made it to the top 24 finalists in Fox’s television show “So U Think U Can Dance” (1'st season) and in 2009 and 2015 Greg and his teams made it to "America’s Got Talent” and appeared in semifinals at Radio city in New York. Greg has taught dance workshops, International Camps and conventions also has judged numerous well known dance events like Hip Hop International and World of Dance all over the world in countries such as the Ukraine, Australia, Mexico, Bulgaria, Poland, Russia, Brazil, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, China, Israel, Italy and numerous USA states. Greg has been successfully producing his own dance shows and competitions such as Collaboration, Under Construction, and the Annual Chapkis Dance Halloween Show. In just a short time he has successfully produced over 40 shows and events. He has choreographed with a line of world artists, such as 7 time Australian Grammy Awards (ARIA) nominated recording artist, Jessica Mauboy, RazB (B2K), Christy Frank, Ciara and more. Also choreographed and directed Jessica Mauboy performance at ARIA awards in Sindy Australia. Greg is most known for founding and building his company Chapkis Dance Family. CDF has placed in numerous competitions over the years including 2014 3 division 1st place gold medalists in USA Hip Hop International in multiple divisions 2014 and 2016, World of Dance Bay Area gold medalist in 2013 & 2014 and 2016 in multiple divisions. Bridge NorCal 2014 champions, HHI World champions for Junior Division in 2015, Vibe 2016 3rd place winner, 1st place champions representing team USA in Dance2Dance competition in Zurich Switzerland, and HHI World Adult Division 2016 2nd place champions. Through last 5 years CDF worked and continues working on professional projects and shows all over the globe with big companies and corporations like Volkswagen, six flags, Coca-Cola and more Greg Chapkis is represented by: Movement Talent Agency (MTA) as a Choreographer & Artistic/Creative Director. His work also awarded with numerous awards. Greg continues to constantly seek new opportunities in the entertainment World both through urban competition as well as industry work.
