Fernanda Cedeno

Fernanda earned a BA in International Business from UTE University, Ecuador, and performed there with the Falcons Dance Academy. Over the last decade, she has studied with Bay Area dance teachers in both private and group classes, including Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Dance Mission, and Roco Dance. She has enjoyed performing with well-known dance companies Salsamania, Jas Dance, ODC, Dance Mission, Yamulee, The Latin Symbolics, Island Touch, among others. They have presented many dance rhythms in local and national events, including the Reno International Dance Festival the San Francisco Salsa Festival and the Las Vegas Salsa and Bachata Congress. Fernanda co-founded San Rafael fitness studio, Fit2Day, in 2014. In 2016, she founded Cedeno Dance Team – multiple, ongoing dance team opportunities for people who love to dance, hone their skills and perform. As both a choreographer and a dancer, it has always been Fernanda's dream to encourage people to trust their capabilities and shine on the dance floor with confidence. I’m proud that these amazing teams welcome dancers of all levels and backgrounds to multiple Latin styles. In 2018 she became the Bay Area director of the "Desiree's Ladies World Team Project". In 2018, she also founded Fernanda Dance & Fitness Studio – A community place where we support each other in the fostering of our creativity both in this space and throughout the community. She graduated from Santa Rosa Junior College with an AA in Arts and Dance in 2018.
