Derrique Daniels is an up and coming choreographer and dancer. He was born in Berkeley, California but has lived in many places in the Bay Area. Derrique started dancing in 2005 with Greg Chapkis at Greg's mothers studio "Dance Unlimited". After a death in his family, life led him and his siblings to gain weight and become very unhealthy. Throughout Derrique’s years being part of Chapkis Dance, he had to work very hard to achieve his ultimate goal being on CDF's team, Prophecy. After 4 years and 3 auditions, Derrique has finally made it to Prophecy and is now one of the directors of Chapkis Dance Family. Derrique has traveled to many countries such as China, Switzerland, Amsterdam, Ukraine and Russia to dance and/or teach. Derrique wants to have every job he can with dance such as dancing/ choreographing for tours, music videos, award shows, movies and even Broadway. With all of this success, Derrique plans to help his mother with all of their family's financial burdens.
