About Daniela Ramirez

Daniela Ramirez has been dancing for twenty years training in jazz, hip hop, and bachata. She began her bachata training ten years ago and started teaching in 2015. Her bachata training was under Ava Apple and Rodolfo Guzman, owners of Symbolic Dance and Fitness and under Inessence Dance Company. In 2015 she founded Supernova, a hip hop bachata fusion duo which later became a team under her dance company, La Tormenta Dance Co founded in 2017, a bachata dance company based in Berkeley. La Tormenta focuses on urban and modern bachata fusing different styles of dance into their choreography. Her classes apply these same styles while focusing on connection, body movement, turn patterns, musicality, and timing.
