DJ started dancing at her local studio at 11 years old after moving to Sacramento, California in 2005, and began training across all styles including hip hop, jazz, ballet, modern, and tap. As part of her studio's dance company she participated in competitions in the Sacramento area until graduating high school. She continued to pursue her love for urban and hip hop dance after joining Haluan, a competitive collegiate team at UC Santa Cruz. After graduating and moving to San Jose, she continues to compete with urban dance team, Syndicate, while teaching local classes. She hopes to continue to share and inspire others with her love for dance for as long as possible!
