Ramada Salieri, a San Francisco native, began his tango journey in 2007 under the guidance of Bay Area Tango community pioneer, Nora Olivera. Known for his elegant, smooth, and musically playful Tango Salon style, his background as a musician allows him to uniquely interpret and integrate the complex nuances of tango music into his movements. He has been featured in journalism, documentary films, a locally produced Broadway/Tango play, and has provided sound and lighting production for major tango events and festivals from SF to New Orleans. Elaine Chiu has been actively involved in her tango communities since she started dancing tango in 2008. She has provided a decade-long volunteering service at Caltech Student Tango Club in Los Angeles on social media marketing and event planning. Before moving to San Francisco, she was a major supporter, designer, and planning partner at Southern California Championship + Festival. After relocating to San Francisco, she began assisting Nora Olivera in organizing Nora’s Tango Week in 2016. Elaine and Ramada continue to share and contribute to San Francisco Bay Area community by offering classes & practicas, hosting vibrant milongas, special events, and organizing Tangamente, the highlight summer event perpetuating the esteemed legacy of Nora's Tango Week.
