MY STORY

Brandi is a native of the Bay Area. She began moving her little hips at age 3. Brandi found her love for jazz at Menlo Park Academy of Dance and competed under the direction and leadership of Nona Pahulu. Encouraged by her mom Brandi continued her dance training at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington. Three and a half years later she earned a BFA in Dance. Brandi had the opportunity to work and train with teachers and choreographers: Wade Madsen, Amy O’Neill, Amii Legendre, Bebe Miller, Kitty Daniels, Terri Sparks, Gerard Theoret, Pat Hon, Michelle Miller, Deborah Wolfe, Daniel Cruz, and Marie Chong. Brandi has been teaching since age 15 and continues to empower and encourage others to grow and move to their fullest capacity by nurturing the seeds of their own creativity. Brandi has trained in ballet, jazz, modern and hip hop, but creates her own style by fusing all styles of dance together. Brandi is now creating and directing concept videos. She’s bringing her love of choreography and videography together to spread awareness of social issues including mental health. If you could sum up her up in three words it would be fun, sassy and positive.
