AMY FOLEY is a dance-maker, teaching artist, performer, and the artistic director of Bellwether Dance Project. Originally from Alaska, she is a long-time, active member of the San Francisco Bay Area dance community. A member of Robert Moses' KIN for over a decade, Amy also has performed locally and nationally as a member of ODC/Dance, Margaret Jenkins Dance Company, Project Agora, Mary Carbonara Dances, Shift Physical Theater, project b., RAWdance, KAMBARA+DANCERS, and with choreographer Nol Simonse. She has enjoyed teaching technique to all ages and levels around the Bay Area and through master classes across the the country (Stanford University, Colorado State University, Slippery Rock University, The Colorado College); Amy has enjoyed teaching/choreographing at Summer Rhatagin’s, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance; Alonzo King’s LINES Dance Center; and the Academy of Ballet. She currently teaches ongoing contemporary technique classes at ODC Dance Commons.
