MY STORY

Amanda Warhuus is a local, freelance dancer and dance teacher in the Bay Area. She graduated from Berkeley High in 2014 and is a guest teacher and choreographer for the Berkeley High dance program for 2018-2019. She has been dancing for 12 years and got her dance training from New Style Motherlode International. While she was in high school, she also danced in the Afro Haitian dance classes of Naomi Washington-Diouf and was also in Dance Production, where she choreographed her own pieces for showcases, a class with teacher Linda Carr. After graduating high school, Amanda began to teach private dance lessons along with teaching classes at New Style Motherlode and at Berkeley High. Amanda’s freelance work includes being a part of showcases and video shoots around the Bay Area and choreographing for local artists. Amanda hopes to continue to share her love and passion for dance with others and to continue to learn and grow in the field of dance.
